Chevelle 300 2-Door Station Wagon Production Numbers

Any color except Goldwood Yellow was available with the 1964 model year and any color except Evening Orchid, Glacier Gray, or Crocus Yellow was available with the 1965 model year. While there are known numbers of each color for both years, there is no known breakdown of which Chevelles were painted what color.

The tables below show the reported production of each series (L6 or V8) were sold for their respective year from U.S. assembly plants. General Motors had plants worldwide and those production numbers are not included in the figures below. The "export" numbers are most likely those "exported" to Canada as GM of Canada did not assemble the 2-door station wagons. The various percentages shown reflect that year/series percentage of the overall two year run of the 2-door station wagon.

While there are known numbers of each series, body style, interior choices, and option reported by GM, there are no known combinations, for example, of how many of any series, body style, interior, color, or option were ordered in combinations.

(1) GM's data shows that 11 (eleven) 13215 300 wagons were sold with the L79 engine in 1965, about 1.7% of all 300 wagons; 42 with the L74 300hp 327, and 47 with the 250hp 327. The remaining 549 V8s are 283 engines but no brakdown on the base 283-2 and the L77.
